Prof. Madhosh delivers lecture at GCW M. A. Road

Department of Education, GCW M. A. Road Srinagar organised an extension lecture by renowned educationist, Prof. (Dr.) A. G. Madhosh on May 4, 2019.
Prof. Madhosh delivered the lecture on the topic ‘Values & Counselling’ which was attended by students of 5th semester and senior faculty of the college.
He stressed on the need for value education and counseling of students to cope with the contemporary challenges facing the society.
Prof. (Dr.) Prof. Yasmeen Ashai hailed the immense contribution of Prof. Madhosh to the education sector of J&K. She recalled the strenuous efforts put in by Prof. Madhosh for the overall improvement of the education scenario in the state. Prof. Ashai expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Madhosh for acceding to the college invitation and delivering the lecture despite his failing health.
Earlier, welcoming the guest, HOD, Education, Prof. (Dr.) Muneer Ahmad underlined the importance of moral and ethical values of education to guide one’s life. He said the connectivity with people is very important.
