Students of the outgoing (2020) batch of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication shared their internship experiences during a session organized by the department at the college conference hall on August 25, 2023. The students did their internship with various leading news organizations and advertising agencies. Some students also shared their freelance work with international news outlets.
Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Jan Kanth lauded the efforts of the students during the internship stints. On the occasion, Prof. Parvez Majeed Lone, HOD Media Studies Amar Singh College, graded the presentations. Dean Sciences, Prof. Nusrath Sayeed, Dean Arts, Prof. Waseema Hamid and Coordinator Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Prof. Raashid Ashraf Malik also attended the session to appreciate and encourage the students.
